What does mobile.de service package consist of?
BRC is the official partner of Germany's largest automotive portal - mobile.de. Working closely with this provider BRC not only helps you finding the right vehicle that meets your requirements but also performs the following steps:
- Gets in contact with the car dealer;
- Determines technical condition of the chosen car;
- Checks whether the car is not in the databases of searched/stolen cars, whether it is not a subject to seizure and/or other restrictions;
- Takes care of the car delivery within a 1-week time frame from the date it is booked;
- Equips with mandatory car safety items (first aid kit, emergency sign, reflective vest, fire extinguisher);
- Carries out car check at BRC car service;
- Carries out a mandatory technical inspection at the vehicle technical inspection center;
- Handles all car registration formalities as well as leasing, rental, and other purchase documentation;
- Hands the car over the new owner.
How much does the mobile.de service package cost?
Search, inspection abroad, technical evaluation, registration and other tasks included into mobile.de service package costs 5% of the value of the car, but not less than 600 Eur, plus VAT, and an additional 500 Eur fee for the transportation of the car from abroad.
- If the price of the chosen car is up to €12 000 – the costs of the mobile.de package is €600 + VAT* + €500
- If the price of the chosen car is higher than €12 000 – the cost of the mobile.de package is 5% of the value of the car + VAT* + €500
The CO2 registration fee is not included into mobile.de service package, which is a mandatory fee and is regulated by the Motor vehicle registration tax law of the Republic of Lithuania, valid as of 17th of December 2019.
*VAT is only applicable for the mobile.de service package and does not affect car transportation fee.
Is it worth buying a car from abroad?
Expanding the car search area improves the possibility to find the car that perfectly matches your needs - a specific model, desired equipment, color, and other features. Cars from abroad usually have a reliable and detailed car usage history including its mileage, accidents, service, and other important specifics. Very often vehicles from Western Europe tend to have lower mileage due to their shorter lifespan.
How long does it take to acquire a car from Europe?
We put all our effort so that the process takes no longer than 7 days from the signing of the contract. It happens though, that the reaction of the car dealer or the car evaluation takes longer than expected. It may take up to 2-4 days to receive all the information. If you decide that the car suits well for you we book it, and if not – we work finding the best car further. In the best-case scenario, if the seller is quick to respond and the car meets all the requirements, the car will be delivered in approximately 10 days. Our record is 5 days from the first contact until the car delivery to Lithuania.
How the car evaluation process is being performed before delivering it to Lithuania?
After choosing a reliable dealer, our purchase manager does the online check-up using digital tools. If possible, we will also contact the nearest representative for a personal inspection of the chosen car. When the car arrives in Lithuania, we take full responsibility for evaluating its condition (mileage, technical features, crash, cabin condition, etc.) and if discrepancies are found upon delivery, you will not be obliged to purchase the car.
How do you know that the condition of the car including mileage and crash history is not fake?
We only work with reliable and verified partners. If there are any doubts about the transparency of the partners' activities, we will not conclude contracts with them. Also in Western Europe, forgery of car documents or mileage is a serious offense and offenders run the risk of being prosecuted. Finally, we partner with CarVertical, one of the leading providers of automotive history reports. Thanks to them, we can provide you with a detailed report on the history of the car.
When the prepayment has to be done?
The prepayment should be completed before making the car reservation and its arrival to Lithuania. It can be a bank transfer or you can pay cash at the BRC Autocenter according to provided prepayment document
Will the prepayment be refunded if the car does not meet the criteria provided at the time of the offer and purchase?
Yes. In case of discrepancies, the full amount of prepayment will be refunded.
How to be sure that the chosen car is in good condition?
We aim to acquire the car in a great condition as much as you do, so we do our best to secure a smooth and transparent procedure. The purchasing manager goes through a car evaluation procedure to determine its service, accident history and other important facts. Our customers are informed individually and are acquainted with all details they need to know before completing a purchase.
When will the car be delivered to Lithuania?
BRC Autocenter cooperates with verified partners only and it approximately takes 1 week to deliver after the order confirmation.
Is it possible to mortgage your old car as part of the price when ordering a car from Europe?
Of course! We will ask you to bring your old car for evaluation and we will provide you with our offer. If the offer suits well, the value of the mortgaged car will then be deducted from the price of the car purchased.
